Im so so tired.. so tired to even walk to the train station to go home.. hence resting @ my wk place 1st. my legs aching, foot sores hurt, body feeling very weak.. hands shaking.. I COULD’NT DESCRIBE HOW BUSY WE WERE THIS MORNING! 3 staffs, yup, tt sounds a lil alot to nurse 7 patients. but we hav got many antibiotics, chemos and blood products to infuse.. I was on my feet since 6am this morning till 3pm. The stupid new sgh shoes hurt me so badly. But I was damn busy, I dun even care abt tt stupid shoes. It was really a MAD HOUSE! Neela has got 2 chemos, 1 TPN, dressings, 1 blood products and loads of antibiotics to run. I’ve got 4cycles of electrolyte replacements, 5-6 antibiotics, 1 chemo, 3 platelets, and 1 paper discharge and readmission to do! Tt irritating paper discharge and readmission is the worst! Spend unnecessary effort and my precious time for it! Tsk.. was so occupied, that we dun have the time to serve oral medication. Aiyoyo.. the call bells was like the early Christmas lighting @ orchard. OMG!~ one after another. 3 at a time! We were so busy that it took us quite awhile to answer the calls bell. so long that this patient’s mom came out of the room twice to look for us.. but no single soul was at the cooridor. Tt bad ok! Sigh! No time for food, dun even have the time for water! Not even a single drop of H2O. I felt like i was in sahara dessert. Throat very very dry! Finally passed over at 3pm! Started writing report only at 3.15pm. finished everything @ 4.30pm. SHAG!~ it doesn’t feel like a Saturday at all! Really it doesn’t. But somehow, after the day end, I felt very great sense of satisfaction! =) entered at 5:52 PM
