completed another round of night shifts! hate it to the core! simply because it's tiring me out! totally not a night person.. what more, was "thrown" to 72 for the 3 nights, when i donno a single patients there at all.. SIAN! lucky i was with merly.. =) blessed..
my 1st night was horrible! because i was so unfamiliar with the patients, a little lost with the surroundings as well. my god! aiyo! items/ equipments that are previously placed in the same place, which are still in the same place, i need more time to search for it, compared to a month ago.. see how bad!
but little little things made me laugh, made me happy larh. one of it i recalled was my colleague, vassanda, helped me clear a urinal. she said, "i cleared urine for mr W, help me chart tt down". i gave her a "huh" look and replied, "who is mr W?" i cant remb their names lorh! even till my last night, i still couldnt get their names in my brain! another thing tt made me happy was being appreciated by patients. =) felt great sense of satisfaction..
throughout the 3 nights, this old granny "entertained" me alot.. she's xtremely cute! love her so much! thou we had a little communication prob, cause i only can understand very minimal simple hokkien, but i can feel tt she appreciated nurses alot.. =)
topping up morphine for 1 of the patient was the most frequent thing i did other than clearing urines n changing diapers. every 5 hours top up morphine lorh.. fun to do larh. =p
met kj for dinner on my 2nd night! went to suntec, just noodles. then he accompanied me to work! =) just tt 3 hrs tgt, enough to put a wide smile on my face =)) heh.. received sumthing frm him.. soo sweet of him ! love it so much =) and saga seeds as well.. =D
sleeping day was great! slept @ 1130hrs. and got woke up by phone call from alvin @ 1200hrs! chey! what a bad timing.. woke up @ 4pm. met kj at cwp for dinner n movie! watched Eagle Eye.. nice show! but i only really understood the whole storyline when kj explained to me. hehe! =p
off day yesterday.. sleeping is my hobby! hee. slept till past 12noon. washing machine ordered on sunday came @ 1 plus. my mom n i tested the nice washing machine. and sumthing really funny happened! whaha.. =p my mom's fragile piece of clothes, went in 1 piece, came out become 2 pieces! darn funny lorh! =p spent the remaining of the day cleaned the floors, bathe my little boy, watched tv, eat and now, online..
it's my off day agn today! =)) it's actually PH.. claiming my hari raya PH.. another 3 working days and im off again on sunday! so happy.. =)) entered at 1:33 AM
