today was really a tiring & stressful day. although i was only nursing 2 patients with 1 admission, i cant explain why am i so held up. =( felt so stress when things are not done. actually im all done with my nursing part, (giving IVs, etc) just the changes that i need the doctors to do are all not done! my whole shift, i was just busying chasing after the new doctors, asking them, reminding them things tt need to be done over & over agn! i got soo tired doing tt, eventually, i gave up. all i do was to document what i have done, n that the doctors noted to do thoses changes which yet to be done. it's not my fault that things are not done, i've tried all i could to do it. =( sigh.
i got this patient going for an invasive procedure tmr, which involved about 5% risk of bleeding,given that his platelets count is very low, that contributed even higher risk of bleeding.In all invasive procedures, blood results(clotting factors, platelets count) needed to be corrected if there's any abnormalities within 48hrs. As a doctor, they should know all this at finger tips. but when i happened to remember, at a later time, that this patient's
clotting factor test wasnt done yet, i asked this mo(doctor) if we need to do tt blood test. tt's of course a nicer way to ask them, instead of telling them, since they are doctors, what i can most do is to suggest, and not instruct them to order this test n that test. but yet,out of good deed, i got scolded by her, for telling her late! kns! common, u are a doctor, i can pretend that i donno anything u know.. tt's call, 好心没好报! so angry!
after work, met alvin despite tt i was really tired! i agreed to meet him just because he said will tk me home by cab. haha! =p so we went to vivocity for dinner @ crystal jade dine in. the place is super high class..
even the cutleries are so nice...
tt's grape milk shake.. 5 bucks okay..
