work today was really busy & occupied but still managable.. but it's managable because we did not go for our break!! we just got no time for that! loads of stuffs to do. what's more, 1 of the patient was deteriorating in the morning.. tt's the main reason that keep us soo busy +++, with chemos, antibiotics, blood products, replacements to run n dressing to do for other patients.. , following doctors' round with lots of changes to do as well. we're MULTITASKED!! mind was packed up to the top!
at tt busy moment, this irritating n sarcastic Pain Team Doctor came to see one patient. i was already informed by my colleague tt patient requested for the pain medicine which was a Controlled drug ( like morphine, which needs to be locked up),it was kept all the way to the other end of the ward. i need to priortise my work, hence i left that job to do later. then this doc was telling me that patient wants the pain medicine, i told her i was really busy at tt moment, & will get tt medicine for the patient asap. she replied sarcastically, "what are u busy with? you should onli be busy when ur taking care, attending to the patient." wth?! of course i din kept my mouth shut! almost bust up when she said that. ARGH! *breathing in deep*
what's next? supervisors came to "instruct" us to pass report quick to the afternoon staffs, then head to lecture hall for a scientific talk to support our colleague's talk. they make it like a compulsory thing. we got no time for break, no time for report writing, no time for rest thru out the whole morning shift, they heck care, they dont bother! my SSN broke down. oh gosh, tt's the most unpleasant scene and awkward atmosphere ever experience- supervisors VS my heroine SSN. haha! because of that, my supervisor came to apologise to me also. tt's so unexpected thou.. we got to convince her that our ward is LACK OF STAFFS instead of OVER.. aiyo! tough task man..
after finishing work, with 2 of my colleagues, we went to have our 1st proper meal of the day @ chinatown. nice nice food.
chinese pizza, hot & sour noodles, bean paste noodles, steamed dumplings etc etc..
was too hungry, so forgotten to take the real pic of the food.. haha..
back home after a long long day...
