Friday (15june07)
Woke up super early in the morning, about 7am.Went to SGH to meet my ganddad to accompany him for his appointment with his cardiologist. The doc anticipated that he needs an operation so he suggested a MIBI heart scan for him as he had a recent minor heart attack during his hospitalisation 2 months ago. booked an apt for him to see the surgeon today to discuss the best treatments and the possible complications he may face. poor granddad. sigh!
went to meet xuan @ chinatown after that.shop at the newly renovated "hawker centre mall". bought 2 blouses.. both @ $22 bucks each. love the 2 blouses. but i feel quite guilty spending $44 altogether. we planned to shop for awhile, eat our dinner at the hawker centre and then go down to expo to meet eileen. but we din realise that we were alrd late after finish shopping. so we did not take our dinner, instead xuan bought n treated me meat pau and dumpling. but we did not hav the time to eat them, so i suggested that we can keep it and eat them when we reach expo, but in the end, i only eat it when i reached home. cold meat pau!but still taste nice.. thank you so much meixuan!
met eileen and huiyun @ max pavilion @ 7pm for the "step into the zone" new creation church event. eileen was so nice, she bought the tickets and invited us there. it was the church event for youth, with special guests, a church band i think, all the way from melbourne, Planetshakers! but i still prefer soft kinda christian songs than rock kind.. but they are cool, full of god's word..
went back at 1030pm.. took a train from expo all the way to gombak. reached home only at 12am. slept only at 2am. yawn!
Saturday(16june07)
Woke up super early today also. 7 am. i sleep merely for 5 hours. yawn x 100! went to my granddad's place to meet him and my uncle. he drove us to SGH for the apt with the surgeon. Surgeon suggested that operation is the best treatment n explain the variable complications to us. but he said that he can only claims him fit for operation if his heart scan shows that his heart condition is good.. so we're waiting for the apt with the cardiolodist agn to see the MIBI scan can be bring forward.
after that, uncle brought us to his office.cool big office he has.then to starhub building to drop some of his documents. then to tiong bahru to eat special porridge, special in the sense that the method of cooking is the absolutely traditional charcoal method. wow. need to wait for 20-30mins. is it the longer the waiting time, the nicer the food are? haha.. after lunch, he drove us back to my granddad's place.
I sorted out all his appointments and wrote in a better and easier format for my aunties to refer.i seems to b my granddad's personal nurse huh.. haha.. sorted out his loads of medications too.. polypharmacy indeed.. meisin came to my grandparents' place to wait for me. so nice of her. then we headed to bugis to shop n to go through her "healing" process specially for me.. it works indeed!
went to bugis village to buy a belt which cost $5 n a bag for $25. thanks to meisin,i got a really good deal for the baggy. it cost 39.90 but GSS, its 30. i like the bag alot, but im spending alot alrd, so i was considering for awhile, after that the ladyboss said she could give me a better price of $28. but i still hasitated.. the ladyboss was so nice, she could see i like the baggy alot, n she understand that my budget as i still STUDENT,and not to forget, she says because sin bought 1 bag from her,she decided to sell it to me at $25!! so happy! what makes me more happy is that i saw the same bag after that, and it cost 39.90! wow.. such big diff!
ate our dinner at KFC. been long since i last eat at that fast food restaurant. we tot we were very hungry, so i was greedy, i opt for upsize of my all time favorite whipped potato. but in the end we both couldnt finish. wasted food.. haiz.
went to take prints, so funnie prints, my 1st time hugging my buddy! haha.. but tt's the nicest pic of all, even sin agrees with me! yay, our taste quite alike, so gg out shopping with u really fun and nice.. thanks for the prints meisin!
took bus 960 with meisin.looked thru the prints n laughed at ourselves. haha. so many tt kinda ppl in the bus.. aiyoyo.. reached home near 11.15pm. tired.
thanks alot sin!!! really! im so extremely happy i got u with me thru this period! u let me forget all unhappiness, all hurt. thank u for spending time looking for belt for me, thank u for the prints, thank u for helping me pay cash when i out of cash (or rather when the shop out of nets). thank u for accompanying to walk to 187 bus stop and thank u for waiting with me for the bus! thank you my dearest SIN.. be touched, but dun cry =)
